TERU means ‘Shining Light’ in Japanese and is named to honor the passion passed down by our ancestors that inspires our creativity to thrive.

Teru is a collection of works from the continued study of natural pigments and heritage craft within small artisan communities committed to preserving traditional craft, sustainable supply chains and awareness of our environmental imprint.

All pieces have been individually Block Printed, Batiked by hand, Screen Printed by Hand and Hand dyed with natural pigments by skilled artisans in India and Indonesia. Complete pre and post production has been provided by master craftswomen and men who share their secrets of these heritage crafts openly with us and whom we hold deep gratitude for.
